Rheumatoid arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic, systemic inflammatory
can affect many tissues and organs, but primarily attacks the synovial
joints. The pathology of the disease often leads to destruction of articular cartilage. Usually affects older people. This research was conducted in the recreational office of the municipality of San Miguel. Was investigated on palliative care in rheumatoid arthritis and identified which one are most effective for patients.

Method

 
Was investigated over a month older patients attending the clinic for pain recess due to previously diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis. Apply a 20-question survey to a total of 50 people in order to find or more effective palliative care they received during treatment in the physiotherapy clinic.

 
Results

 
85% of respondents said that hydrotherapy is more effective palliative care in the disease. The massages were chosen as the second best rated 60%. The paraffin treatment care faith but qualified with 15% of preferences.

 
conclusion

 
From this research we can identify which treatments are better tolerated and accepted by patients in the elderly.
